About Horrid Historia
Passionate educators bringing over 30 years of experience to make history accessible and exciting for all
Our Vision
As a teacher, I am well aware of the impact that enrichment activities and visits can have in education for the youth of today. For some children it may be their only opportunity to encounter a different experience, to discover a hidden talent or to be able to access new learning on the same level as their peers.
Unfortunately, with rising coach costs and ever shrinking budgets many schools are now finding it more difficult to make these opportunities available across the entire cohort. Here at Horrid Historia, we want to change that dynamic.
Our commitment to schools is that we deliver high quality affordable enquiry-led workshops that bring your curriculum to life. We want to ignite their passion for learning and inspire your pupils to want to know more.
We work with you to ensure we meet your pupils needs. Your workshop experience will be unique to your class.
We recycle and forage for resources to keep prices low and affordable for all schools.
All activities are safe, engaging and accessible for all pupils to access regardless of ability.
